In 2016, the Department of Veterans Affairs health care system in Long Beach, California was renamed the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center. In this short animated video, Mr. Rubin tells the story of how he went from a German concentration camp at the age of 13 to receiving a Congressional Medal of Honor 55 years after his acts of selfless bravery in the Korean War.
